Nous croyons qu'un vieillissement long et attentionné de nos vins est nécessaire pour une véritable expression du terroir de Lac-Brome. Les critiques ont longtemps été négatives à propos des cépages hybrides, affirmant qu'ils ne pourraient jamais atteindre les sommets des vignes traditionnelles (vitis vinifiera). Nous sommes persuadés du contraire: il faut tenter l’aventure. Les cépages hybrides peuvent produire des vins exceptionnels dignes de vieillir dans les plus belles caves. Fidèles à notre esprit perfectionniste, nous avons investi beaucoup de temps et d’efforts pour comprendre les subtilités de chaque variété de raisin. De plus, à Sugar Hill, nous croyons à l’étude continue de notre terroir et à l’utilisation des pratiques de vinification de pointe afin de vous offrir des vins de caractère. Nous sommes fièrement biologique depuis 2021.

We believe in long and attentive ageing of our wines to allow the true nature of our Lac-Brome terroir to speak. Pundits have long spoken ill of hybrid varietals stating that they will never reach the heights of traditional grapevines (vitis vinifiera). On the contrary, we believe these hybrids are capable of making exceptional wines worthy of ageing in the most discerning of cellars. Staying true to our perfectionist spirit, we have taken great time and effort to understand the intricacies of each varietal. Moreover, at Sugar Hill, we believe in the continuous study of our our terroir and the use of state of the art vinification practices in order bring to you wines of character. We are proudly organic since 2021.
We simply focus on quality.
